My dog George may not get excited about much – but I do!!
The other day I was tagged by a lovely fellow blogger Anna over at
The Guiltless Lifeto post 5 things I am excited about – and then tag five more bloggers I would like to hear from. Now I have to be honest and say this was really really hard – because I am a super excitable person. I am the annoying type that jumps up and down on a regular basis and claps my hands when excited. Definitely not cool. Narrowing down to just five things was tricky, but here goes:

Being Tagged!
I have seen these tagging posts going around quite a bit, and always thought they looked like fun. Recently as I have read other people’s posts and saw they were doing one, I secretly hoped I would get tagged. When I saw my name on Anna’s, I casually clicked the link thinking “Oh it won’t be me”, and then when it was I really did clap and jump up and down. It’s a bit like being picked for a sports team at school! Anna was one of the first people to comment on my blog and was very helpful when I started out and had lots of questions.

Signing up at IIN
One of my
goals for the year was to sign up at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and start studying to be a Health Coach. I thought it might be a while until I could save up for it, but last week was lucky enough to get a scholarship from an alumni (Thanks Amie at
The Healthy Apple), and I was able to sign up. I am so excited it is ridiculous.

In July tobacco products in New Zealand will have to be completely out of sight at retail outlets.
(You didn’t see that coming from me did you!)
My day job is working as a Public Health Advisor in Tobacco Control. Legislation is on its way meaning that dairies, convenience stores, petrol stations etc can’t have any cigarettes or tobacco products visible at all. This will mean it is out of the way of impressionable kids, and people who are trying to give up smoking will not be tempted. It is a huge move, and so good for Public Healthfour

New clothes!
Do you ever go through a phase where you hate every single item in your wardrobe? I was there recently, and wanted to sell almost everything on line and start again. I just have not got the time to take photos and list everything, so my lovely friend is doing it for me. Even better – she is searching for replacements for me and sending pictures and links through. So much fun!
